COLOR & PAPER

Screen colour and printed colour
may not match

Screens show colour as RGB light, while print uses CMYK ink, so some bright shades such as neon pink or vivid blue print duller. Paper matters too: smooth art card gives crisp colour, while kraft paper makes colours darker and warmer. Before sending the file, convert it to CMYK and compare the logo colour with printing the brand has used before.

MATERIAL & ARTWORK

Materials, finishes and what to prepare
for cosmetic boxes

  • Paper

Art card and white-back folding board give a smooth surface and crisp colour, good for brands that sell on product imagery and brand colour. Kraft suits natural-look brands, and holographic foil board gives a multi-coloured reflective surface.

  • Coatings and special finishes

Matte lamination looks refined and cuts glare. Gold or bronze foil on the brand name and spot UV on the logo help the box stand out from its neighbours on the shelf.

  • What to prepare

The size of the bottle or jar including the cap and pump, and the text that must appear on the box, such as product name, net quantity, directions and ingredients, already checked by the brand owner.

FAQ

Questions about cosmetic boxes

  • What is the difference between a tuck bottom and a snap lock bottom?

A tuck bottom assembles easily and suits light products such as cream tubes or sheet masks. A snap lock bottom interlocks, so it carries more weight and suits glass bottles, pump bottles and multi-piece sets.

  • How should the file be prepared to keep the logo close to the brand colour?

Send the file in CMYK, state the logo colour values in the file, and avoid neon shades that standard inks cannot fully reproduce. If anything needs fixing, the team will say so during the artwork check within 1 business day.

  • Does the 3D view in the shop show the box artwork?

The 3D view shows the shape of the chosen box style, so proportions and opening can be checked before ordering. The printed design comes from the artwork file sent after adding the item to the cart.

  • Can a set box hold several products?

Choose a box style whose size range fits the whole set, such as a drawer box. If the shape or spec is not available, send a callback request from the product list in the shop with the size, quantity and type of product.

How ordering works

  1. Choose a box style in the shop, enter the size and quantity, then rotate the box shape in 3D before ordering.

  2. Compare paper types and weights (gsm) to match the weight and use of the product.

  3. Send the artwork as PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB, after adding the item to the cart.

  4. Gloss or matte lamination reduces scuffs on the box surface and changes how the print feels.

  5. Add emphasis with foil stamping, embossing or spot UV, where the box style offers it.
