BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What to consider
before ordering gift boxes

  • The date the boxes are needed

For New Year, Chinese New Year or a company anniversary, order well before the date: allow 7–10 business days of production after artwork approval and payment, plus delivery time.

  • Finishes that can be felt

Embossing and debossing give the logo depth to the touch; gold or bronze foil feels luxurious. Used on key details only, they look neater than across the whole box.

  • See the shape before ordering

Rotate the box shape in 3D in the shop to check the proportions and opening of the chosen style before ordering.

MATERIAL & ARTWORK

Materials, finishes and what to prepare
for gift boxes

  • Paper

Greyboard is thick and stiff and does not collapse, good for gift boxes the recipient keeps. Gold or holographic foil board makes the whole surface reflective, and art card suits boxes with bright printed designs.

  • Coatings and special finishes

Matte lamination with foil stamping is a common pairing for gift boxes. Spot UV highlights a pattern or greeting against a matte background.

  • What to prepare

The size of the gift including inner cushioning, the date the boxes are needed, the total number of sets, and a high-resolution logo file.

FAQ

Questions about gift boxes

  • How early should gift boxes be ordered for festive seasons?

Allow 7–10 business days of production after artwork approval and payment, plus time for artwork changes and delivery, and remember that long holidays are not business days.

  • How should a box for a multi-item gift be sized?

Arrange the whole set as the recipient should see it, measure its width, length and height including cushioning, then choose a style that supports that size. If the shape or spec is not available, send a callback request from the product list in the shop.

  • Can a greeting or the recipient's name be printed on the box?

Text in the artwork file prints the same on every box in the same line item, so a shared greeting can be printed. Individual recipient names suit a separate sticker or card.

  • How does a rigid box differ from a folding box?

A rigid box is made from thick, stiff greyboard that does not collapse, so the recipient can keep it. A folding box is lighter, folds flat and suits large orders.

How ordering works

  1. Choose a box style in the shop, enter the size and quantity, then rotate the box shape in 3D before ordering.

  2. Compare paper types and weights (gsm) to match the weight and use of the product.

  3. Send the artwork as PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB, after adding the item to the cart.

  4. Gloss or matte lamination reduces scuffs on the box surface and changes how the print feels.

  5. Add emphasis with foil stamping, embossing or spot UV, where the box style offers it.
